Re-Connecting With and Meeting New Organizations is a Major Plus

Much of Local Food Forum's coverage focuses on the activities of dynamic non-profit organizations that, in ways eclectic or esoteric, work to help build a healthier, more sustainable, more local, more humane and fairer food system.
And one of the most rewarding experiences for me as I attended the 2024 Farm Aid Festival last Saturday (September 21) in Saratoga Springs, New York was spending hours in the Homegrown Village, a gathering of dozens of non-profit organizations working to advance our cause.
Homegrown Village is a standing feature of Farm Aid's big annual fundraising event. This year's included some national organizations with which I have familiarity, and local and regional groups focused on improving local food ecosystems in the Northeast, which I'm happy to get to know.
To salute their efforts, I'm providing this photo display of Homegrown Village exhibitors. Pre-emptive apology: I tried to make sure to capture them all but apologize to anyone I missed.
I am listing the organizations alphabetically, starting with the one in the photo above: Agriculture Stewardship Alliance of Greenwich, New York. I don't have the bandwidth to provide details on each group, but the name of each is linked to their website or social media page.
