Next in Monthly Series of Events is This Friday (April 3)

I've done a bit of quick pickling over the years, though not for a while. With all of the beautiful, delicious, super-fresh seasonal produce that will be soon pouring into our Chicago region markets, my interest is renewed.

So I'm thankful to my friends at Wild Onion Market co-op grocery who are staging a monthly series of "Fermentor Fridays." The next one is coming right up this Friday, April 3, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the store, located at 7007 N. Clark St. in Chicago's Rogers Park neighborhood.

Here's how the folks at Wild Onion describe the event:

Curious about the world of fermenting? We'll talk about kefir and kombucha and more "living liquids" at the Fermentor Friday gathering from 6-8 this Friday, April 3!

Open to novice and master fermenters alike, just be sure to RSVP at https://forms.gle/DwFqsDy5bUQyKUEK9. Fermentor Fridays are a monthly event at Wild Onion Market grocery co-op, 7007 N. Clark in Chicago.

And of course, while you're there, you can shop the store, which curates better-for-people-and-the-planet products for its shelves.

See you there?
