EXPERIMENTAL STATION: PREMIER SHOWING OF ORGANIC RISING FILM

Thursday, October 23, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. central

6100 S. Blackstone Ave., Chicago

Experimental Station will be hosting the not-to-be-missed Chicago premiere of Organic Rising, a film by Pulitzer and Emmy Award-winning Anthony Suau. For those of us who have long been concerned about the foods we eat, this is not just a film about what is organic and what is not. This film provides information we all need about the chemicals put on our food and their effects on humans and our future as a species. The screening will be followed by a conversation with director Anthony Suau, Allison Walent (Program Director, Midwest Organic Services Association), and Ezra Lee (Director of Urban Farms, Growing Home).
