Just Roots is a non-profit that operates farms on Chicago's South Side and in south suburban Sauk Village. Its mission is to reduce food insecurity and promote healthier eating. If you're a frequent Local Food Forum reader, Just Roots is probably a familiar name, as I subscribe to their Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program and post about my bi-weekly pickups.

There is a great way for you to get to know Just Roots better and support its efforts to increase access to healthy, locally produced food. Their annual fundraising dinner is scheduled for the evening of Thursday, September 18, and the chef lineup looks amazing.

We'll let Just Roots speak for itself.
