Kids Get Out in the Country to Learn About Farming and Nature

I often say that the surest way to accelerate the rise of a better food system is to impart Good Food values to our youngest eaters.
If you are a parent who agrees and is looking for a new and exciting experience for your children this summer, you may want to consider the Farmers Rising non-profit's summer day farm camps that will take place, beginning June 9, at its farm/headquarters in Caledonia in north-central Illinois.
Titled "Free Range Kids 2025," the program features four four-day tracks for campers. Camps for kids ages 6 through 12 will take place from June 9-12, June 16-19, and July 7-10. There is also one Teen Leadership camp track, from August 4-7, for those ages 12-15.
