University of Wisconsin-Based Event to be Held in Madison

Winter is the season in which farmers have the most time and opportunity to spend time away from the farm. That's why each year brings several major conferences in the Midwest.

One of these is the winter conference presented by OGRAIN (Organic Grain Resource and Information Network) at its home base of University of Wisconsin in Madison, in partnership with Artisan Grain Collaborative. This important event will take place January 23 and 24 at the Monona Terrace Convention Center, with a special program on The Future of Organic Row Crops on January 22.

Registration is now open for the 2026 OGRAIN Conference

Join us for our tenth annual winter event as we gather with organic grain farmers, researchers, and industry experts to explore a variety of top-of-mind topics. Two full days of presentations, roundtable discussions, and exhibitions will be held January 23rd and 24th, 2026, at the Monona Terrace Convention Center in Madison, Wisconsin. Thursday evening will feature a special session to dive into the future of organic row crops production. Friday evening will include a chance for farmers and buyers to enjoy local, organic food and connect during a buyer/seller mixer.
