Join The Evolved Network at a Urban Farm and Green City Market on a Field Trip

TWO BIG EVENTS... ONE WEEK FROM TODAY... THAT'S SATURDAY, JULY 25...
WATCH A LIVE PODCAST BY THE EVOLVED NETWORK AND A PICNIC WITH LEADING CHEFS AT JUST ROOTS URBAN FARM ON CHICAGO'S SOUTH SIDE
Chef Sebastian White frequently holds events to promote his The Evolved Network non-profit, which provides underprivileged Chicago youths with food education, cooking lessons and life skills. There are two certainties at his events: 1) There will be inspiring and impactful dialogue, and 2) there will be great food from leading chefs who rally to support his efforts.
The next of these events is unique: A live presentation of Sebastian's podcast titled By Accident, Choice, or Grace, combined with an urban farm picnic prepared by an awesome lineup of chefs.
The event will take place at Just Roots Farm at 2926 S. Wabash Ave. (in Chicago's Bronzeville neighborhood) on Saturday, July 25. The event will run from 2 to 4:15 p.m. It will include a VIP champagne tour of the farm running from 1:30 to 2 and opportunities for general admission attendees to explore the beautiful half acre, which should be replete with peak season summer crops on the day of the event.
According to The Evolved Network, "Every episode of By Accident, Choice, or Grace explores the relationships, experiences, and moments that shape the way we care for one another. This live conversation brings together chefs, educators, growers, and community leaders whose work offers different perspectives on food, care, community, and belonging."

TAKE A FIELD TRIP TO MICHIGAN WITH GREEN CITY MARKET FOR
THE PEAK SEASON DINNER AT MICK KLUG FARM
I am certain that Green City's Market's annual "Peak Season" farm dinner fundraiser would be awesome under any circumstance. But check out this lineup of participating chefs for the July 25 event at Mick Klug Farm 5795 Scottsdale Rd. in beautiful St. Joseph, Michigan.
Stephanie Izard, Girl & The Goat
Javauneeka Jacobs, Frontera Grill
César Murillo, North Pond
Leigh Omilinsky, Daisies
Devon Quinn, Eden
Proceeds from the dinner will benefit Green City Market's efforts to promote healthy and sustainably produced food, support our region's farmers, and enable the market to continue to triple individuals' SNAP benefits to increase their access to nutritious food.
The Peak Season dinners tend to sell out, and the Eventbrite page says there are only a few tickets left. Click the button below to get tickets. Mick Klug Farm is about 100 miles by car from Green City Market's Lincoln Park flagship location; bus transportation from Chicago is available for an extra fee.
