Event to Be Held at etc., Lamar's new, highly regarded Southern-themed restaurant

Next Door Dinners is a pay-what-you-can, pop-up dinner series that raises money for Chicago-area charities. And its next event, scheduled for the evening of Tuesday, March 25, sounds like a real winner.
The dinner will be held in downtown Chicago at etc., the new, Southern-themed outpost for Chef Lamar Moore, one of Chicago's leading Black chefs.
Wrote John Ringor on The Infatuation national restaurant review site, "The Loop isn’t the dining capital of Chicago, but Etc. livens up this area wrought with business people, slow-walking tourists, and soulless hotel restaurants. Etc.’s tasty Southern food, stylish space with fluorescent pillars, and upbeat R&B soundtrack could trick you into thinking the Loop was cool."
Proceeds from the dinner will benefit Gyrls in the H.O.O.D Foundation, "the leading Chicagoland nonprofit organization that provides Black gyrls with the reproductive resources, social support services, and sexual health education they need to make informed and responsible choices."
