Two-Day Fest (Aug. 23-24) from The Infatuation Restaurant Site at The Salt Shed

The Infatuation is an online publication focused on restaurants. Chicago, long regarded as an epicenter of dining culture, is one of a number of cities it covers.
The publication is well-known for its traveling series of EEEEEATSCON events that enable attendees to purchase food from a curated group of outstanding restaurants, mostly located in the host city with some outsiders brought in for variety.
And EEEEEATSCON returns to The Salt Shed, the Chicago event center at a former Morton Salt warehouse (1357 N. Elston), on August 23 and 24 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
I attended last year's EEEEEATSCON and found it to be an enjoyable experience, well run with lots of delicious food and beverages. They also provide musical entertainment throughout on The Salt Shed's outdoor concert stage.
So I can recommend this event, with one caveat: It is exclusive to Chase credit card holders. If you're thinking, "Wow, that's really specific," you should know that The Infatuation has been owned since 2021 by JP Morgan Chase.
General on-sale tickets are available for all Chase cardholders. Chase Sapphire Reserve and Preferred cardholders get to enter an hour early.
To whet your appetite, here is the list of restaurants participating in Chicago EEEEEATSCON 2025.

Here's how the organizers describe the event:
Discover a Different Kind of Food Festival
We got tired of leaving food festivals with nothing but one-bite tacos and rosé samples in our stomachs, so we created EEEEEATSCON, a two-day food event where you won’t go home hungry. We’ve rounded up some of our favorite local restaurants and sprinkled in a few places across the country serving dishes you’d otherwise need plane tickets to try. And, when you need some time to digest (we get it), there’ll be live music, celebrity panels, and the chance to ask our restaurant critics about your dining dilemmas. Kids under 6 and service dogs get in free, and yes, expect plenty of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. No sad black bean burgers here.
