Leading Farmer Advocacy Group Has Tips for You... and Maybe Your Holiday Guests?

If you're a regular Local Food Forum reader, you know the admiration that I have for Farm Aid, the non-profit advocate for family farmers and a better food system. Their 40th anniversary festival and concert, held in Minneapolis in late September, will be one of my lasting memories of 2025.
And I'm also pleased to share Farm Aid's insights with our readers.
Farm Aid recently published its "10 Ways to Support Family Farm Agriculture." This article shares the 10 topline tips, though each category has several bullet points worth considering (click the button below to read the full story on the Farm Aid website.)
Since you are reading something called Local Food Forum, there's a good chance that you are aware (and maybe practice) many of these ideas... but there's always something to learn.
And maybe this can be a conversation starter if you have a local food skeptic or two joining you for your Thanksgiving dinner?
