Culinary Community Philanthropic Coalition Launches 5th Year

Chicago Chefs Cook is a non-profit supported by dozens of the region's leading chefs, who collaborate on several tasting events that raise money for a range of philanthropic causes. One of the biggest is its "I Cook For" benefit, which will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel on Thursday, March 26 (5:30-8:30 p.m.).
This 2nd annual event has an amazing list of top culinary talent (scroll down to see the list).
There is a change from last year's event, when participating chefs were asked to name a charity as a beneficiary of the proceeds. This year, the organizers and chefs have designated five official recipient organizations in selected subject areas:
Immigration: Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights
Children Battling Cancer: Camp Kids are Kids Chicago
The Unhoused and Food-Insecure: Soul & Smoke Foundation
Women's Culinary Leadership:Women's Chef Exchange
Sustainability and Regenerative Agriculture: Frontera Farmer Foundation
The following is Chicago Chef Cook's description of the event, followed by a link to buy tickets.
Chicago Chefs Cook cordially invites you to the second annual 'I Cook For' Benefit at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago. Enjoy a walk-around of chef stations, passed desserts, and premium cocktail offerings from top mixologists and local purveyors. Interact with chefs and restaurateurs while enjoying music, photo-ops, and other special moments.
This evening celebrates Chicago's culinary leaders and the causes they champion. More than a traditional fundraiser, The 'I Cook For' Benefit highlights the impact chefs and sponsors have on our community—not only through food, but through daily civic leadership, advocacy, and service.
