Listing Chicago Area Markets Compiled by Illinois Farmers Market Association
The weather outside its frightful, with more snow and biting cold than we typically experience this early in December — proving the wisdom of wrapping up the outdoor market season before Thanksgiving.
But locally produced food is still delightful, due to the growing number of indoor markets in the Chicago region. So we're happy to share a list of the region's winter farmers markets compiled by Illinois Farmers Market Association (ILFMA).
ILFMA maintains a comprehensive list of winter markets throughout the state of Illinois. This list here is region-focused because most of Local Food Forum's readership still is in the Chicago area (sigh... we're working on that), but click the button below to get the full ILFMA list.
