Food Co-op in Chicago's Rogers Park to Feature Great Local Black-Owned Brands

As Local Food Forum has previously reported, the Wild Onion Market co-op grocery is located in Rogers Park, one of Chicago's demographically diverse neighborhoods. The market is celebrating that diversity with a series of special events over the course of this year.
Next up is a gathering that marks the conclusion of Black History Month. The event will be held this Saturday (February 28) from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the market, located at 7007 N. Clark St.
The event will feature these local businesses:
Kribi Coffee
Awe Sauce
Grandma Fannie’s
Vargo Brothers Ferments
Sol Foods
Kyoto Black Coffee
Old Arthur’s
If you are among the 2,500 Wild Onion Market owner-shareholders, you can get 10 percent off on products from those vendors from now through March 3. And if you're not an owner, learn how you can become one by clicking this link: wildonionmarket.com/become-an-owner.
