Late Afternoon and Evening Event Takes Place in Caledonia on August 23

Alfalfa is a valued cover crop. But the Alfalfa Festival — to be presented on Saturday, August 23 at the farm headquarters of the Farmers Rising farmer education non-profit — is eschewing cover bands for a strong lineup of independent artists.
The festival is located in Caledonia, Illinois, about 95 miles northwest of downtown Chicago and about 20 miles northeast of downtown Rockford. Gates will open at 3 p.m. with its live regional music lineup starting at 3:30 p.m. The event is scheduled to end at 10 p.m.
Here are all the details from Farmers Rising, with a link to buy tickets.
