Chicago Non-Profit Nourishes Hope Through Food, Mental Health, Social Services



Nourishing Hope is a non-profit — formerly known as Lakeview Pantry — that benefits Chicago by providing food, mental health support and social services to individuals in need. The organization is holding its biggest annual fundraiser, and early bird tickets are on sale through July 31.



The gala will be held on Friday, October 2 at The Geraghty event space, 2520 S. Hoyne Ave.


Nourishing Hope is also seeking event sponsors. Here is their message:


Sponsoring the Nourishing Hope Gala is a meaningful way to invest in our neighbors and help ensure Chicagoans across the city can continue to access nutritious food, mental health care, and critical social services with dignity and compassion.


Help us reach our goal of raising more than $1 million in support of our vital programs. Because of the generosity of supporters like you, last year Nourishing Hope was able to provide 190,221 food services, source more than 6.2 million pounds of food, and deliver mental health and social service visits to neighbors across Chicago.
