Dance an August Weekend Away at Illinois' Zumwalt Acres Farm

I love farms. I love art. I love creativity. The second annual Landing Dance Festival at Zumwalt Acres — a regenerative farm in the east-central Illinois village of Sheldon — combines all three.

Here is how Zumwalt Acres describes the event:

Join us for the second annual Landing Dance Festival at Zumwalt Acres, a regenerative teaching farm in Sheldon, IL August 8-10, 2025! Together we will explore dance as a way of building deep and loving relationships with land and the ecosystems we rely on.

Everyone is welcome — no dance experience necessary! We will share workshops, performances, singing, dancing, farm meals, and camping on the land (limited indoor accommodations available). Pay what you can.
