Local Food Forum Bob Zeni is Up for a People's Choice Award

Bob Zeni grows an astounding variety of tomato starter plants at his Chicago Tomato Man company... which has resulted in Bob himself becoming renowned as the Chicago Tomato Man.
It has also resulted in Bob becoming a finalist for this year's Chicago Innovation People's Choice Award. He surely will get lots of votes from his loyal customers, but he likely needs more to win. So we're sharing his request for your vote.
Here's his pitch:
There are a lot of worthy candidates, but winning would definitely spread the word far and wide about our work in helping the community through our partnerships with local breweries and coffee shops [which serve as his springtime pickup locations] and through our donations to teaching gardens, community gardens and other non-profits that give their harvest to food pantries.
I'm thinking it would also shine some much-needed light on Chicago's agriculture community.
